Course Overview

Our Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care will develop you personally and professionally, and provide the tools you need to achieve your career potential. You’ll build your ability to work as an effective team leader in settings involving people from different disciplines and agencies. You’ll advance your understanding of the latest policy developments in health and social care and develop your research awareness and analytical skills. You’ll learn to use higher level strategies for solving practical problems, and understand how to implement, influence and adapt to change in your workplace. You’ll also explore the needs of service users so that their views –and those of their carers – are fully represented.

Entry Requirements

  1. Successful completion of a FdSc Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  2. 120 Level 4 Credits & 120 Level 5 Credits from a Relevant Subject such as a DipHE in Nursing.
  3. You must be a health and social care professional with at least one year full time or equivalent part time experience.
